CloudEx Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the "Drawing Pad Pro" app (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Our Core Principle
Drawing Pad Pro is a drawing and coloring app. You can draw with brushes and layers, turn a photo into a line-art coloring page and color it, color templates such as mandalas and stained glass, or trace over a photo. Drawing, converting photos, and creating coloring templates all run entirely on your device. Your artworks and photos are yours: they are stored on your device, and we never view, collect, upload, or transmit them to our servers. There is no account and no sign-up. Specifically, we do not have access to any of the following:
- The artworks you draw or color, including their layers and the record of your drawing process
- The photos you choose in the app, and the coloring pages made from them
- The text you add to your artworks, the titles of your artworks, or the names of your folders
- Any other photos or files on your device
Your artworks and photos leave your device only through actions you take yourself: sharing, saving to your photo gallery, printing, exporting, or backing up (Section 2).
2. Photos and Your Artworks
- Photos: When you turn a photo into a coloring page, trace a photo, or use one as a reference image, you choose it with Android's photo picker (on Android 10 and earlier, the system file chooser). The app receives only the photo you choose and cannot see any of your other photos. The photo is processed on your device — for example, converted into line art or a paint-by-numbers page, or used to pick out colors. When you trace a photo or use it as a reference image, a copy of it is kept inside that artwork in the app's private storage. Photos are never uploaded.
- Where your artworks are kept: Each artwork (its layers, settings, and thumbnail) is stored in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot access. While "Record the drawing process" is on in the settings, the app also keeps small JPEG frames of your drawing process with each artwork, which are used to make the time-lapse video. Artworks you delete are moved to the trash, where you can restore them for 30 days; after that they are deleted permanently.
- When anything leaves your device: Only when you do it yourself — sharing an artwork through Android's share sheet, saving it to your photo gallery (on Android 9 and earlier, to a location you choose), printing it through Android's print service, exporting it (as PNG, JPG, PSD, a time-lapse video in MP4, or a coloring book in PDF), saving a backup file (.zip) to a location you choose, or (Premium) turning on automatic backup to a folder you choose. Files you save to your gallery or to a folder can be seen by other apps that have access to those files. We never receive any of it.
- Photos of other people: Your artworks may be made from photos that show other people, or from images created by others. When you share or publish such artworks, you are responsible for respecting their rights and for complying with the laws that apply to you.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information Collected Automatically
- Anonymous crash reports: Via Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes, we collect the stack trace, device model, OS version, and app version. This does not include personally identifiable information, your artworks, or your photos.
- Purchase information: We use purchase tokens issued by Google Play to verify your one-time "Premium" purchase. We never receive any payment information such as credit card numbers.
- List of our other apps: To show our other apps, the app downloads their names, descriptions, and icons from our content server (static files hosted on Cloudflare Pages). The request contains no personal data from the app. As with any request to a web server, the server receives your device's IP address as part of the connection. Tapping an app in the list opens its page on Google Play.
The app collects nothing else automatically. It contains no usage-tracking tools and no advertising SDK.
3.2 Information Stored Only on Your Device
- Your artworks: Stored in the app's private storage as described in Section 2. They never leave your device unless you share, save, print, export, or back them up.
- Copies of photos: Kept inside an artwork only when you trace that photo or use it as a reference image, and removed together with that artwork.
- Drawing process frames: Small JPEG frames kept with each artwork, used only to make the time-lapse video when you export it.
- App settings: Your brush settings, recent colors, folders, display options, and similar settings are stored on your device.
- Android backup: If backup is turned on in your device settings, Android may include the app's settings and your Premium purchase status in the backup it saves to your own Google account. Your artworks and the trash are always excluded from this backup. When you transfer your data directly to a new phone, Android may also copy your artworks (but not the trash). This is handled by Android; we have no access to it.
- When you uninstall: Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes the artworks, the trash, and the settings stored in the app's private storage. Images you saved to your gallery, files you exported, and backup files remain until you delete them. To keep your artworks, save a backup file before uninstalling.
3.3 Information We Explicitly Do Not Collect
- Your artworks, or the photos you use in the app
- Any other photos or files on your device (the app can see only the photo you choose each time)
- Your name, email address, phone number, or contacts (the app has no account or sign-up)
- Your device's advertising ID, or statistics about how you use the app
- A history of the websites you visit or the contents of your communications
- The contents of your screen or of other apps
3.4 Permissions the App Requests and Their Purposes
Drawing Pad Pro requests only the following permissions, and uses them only for the stated purposes. None of them gives the app access to your photos, your files, or your personal data.
- Internet (INTERNET) — Used only for anonymous crash reports, Google Play purchase verification, in-app reviews and in-app updates, downloading the list of our other apps, and showing this privacy policy in the app. Drawing, coloring, converting photos, and saving do not require an internet connection.
- Network state (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — Lets the services above check whether a network connection is available before they send or receive data.
- Google Play billing (com.android.vending.BILLING) — Used to make the one-time Premium purchase through Google Play and to confirm that you own it.
To choose a photo, the app uses Android's photo picker (on Android 10 and earlier, the system file chooser). It gives the app access only to the photo you choose, so the app does not need, and does not request, permission to read your storage or your photo library. The app requests no other permissions.
4. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used only for the following purposes:
- Operating and maintaining the Service
- Verifying your Premium purchase
- Diagnosing and fixing crashes

- Google Play Billing (Google LLC) — the one-time Premium purchase; payment is completed on Google Play, and we receive only a purchase token
- Google Play In-App Review and In-App Updates (Google LLC) — let you rate the app and install updates without leaving it; handled by Google Play
- Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.) — hosts the static list of our other apps
Drawing Pad Pro does not include any advertising SDK, does not collect your device's advertising ID, and does not share your data with advertising networks.
6. Data Retention
- Crash reports: retained for 90 days, then deleted.
- Your artworks, drawing process frames, and settings on your device: kept until you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear the app's data. Artworks you delete stay in the trash for 30 days and are then deleted automatically.

7. International Data Transfers
We are based in Japan. The infrastructure used for crash diagnostics and for hosting the list of our other apps may be located in various countries. When you use the Service, the minimal information described above may be processed outside your country of residence under standard contractual safeguards.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you reside (e.g., the EEA, UK, California, Japan), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited information we hold. You can:
- Delete artworks in the app at any time, or uninstall the app or clear its data to erase the artworks, the trash, and the settings stored on your device
- Decide each time which photo, if any, the app may use — the app never has access to your other photos
- Contact us at the address below to make a request regarding the information we hold
9. Children's Privacy
Drawing Pad Pro is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age applicable in your region). If we inadvertently collect information from such a child, we will delete it promptly upon being contacted.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version is always published at this URL together with its effective date. We will also notify you within the app of significant changes as appropriate.
